Due to medical reasons beyond our control Mr. Slide Hampton will be unable to participate in tonight’s concert.

Performing will be the seventeen piece, Steve Allee Big Band and their Indy Jazz Legacy Tribute. Selections from Slide Hampton, Wes Montgomery, JJ Johnson, Steve Allee & more will fill The Jazz Kitchen with toe-tappin’ grooves and lots of satifying solo flights.

What to watch will be the dual between east coast tenor-man Eddie Bayard and hometown hero Rob Dixon; also on tenor (blood will be shed) Pharez Whitted, Mark Buselli, Marlon McKay & Lennie Foy will fight for trumpet supremacy. Chicago trombonist Tim Coffman is among this nights special guests.
