Due to the rise of the Delta variant of COVID-19, we are strongly encouraging attendees of any Indy Jazz Fest events to wear masks, with or without vaccination. Our goal is to keep all our fans as safe as possible! Please be advised this may change to a mask mandate if local restrictions are imposed.
We have multiple hand-washing and sanitizer stations throughout the park.
Absolutely, Tickets can be purchased at the door with cash or credit card depending on availability (website will be continuously updated). We strongly encourage you purchase your tickets prior to the event. We strongly encourage you to bring your tickets with you whether it be printed off or digitally - tickets will be scanned. Venue capacity may also change. Don't be left out!
If you need to leave the festival and re-enter, you will be given a wristband. The wristband plus your ticket will give you access to re-enter. However, those who choose to re-enter must go through the security checkpoint again.
A variety of food, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverage will be available for sale on site.
NO COOLERS or OUTSIDE FOOD AND DRINK WILL BE ALLOWED.
In order to consume alcohol you must be 21 years of age with a valid state or government issued ID. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept paper, temporary, or expired IDs. An ID check station will be located near the main entrance - present your ID for age verification to obtain your 21+ wristband.
Personal lawn / folding chairs are permitted in LAWN ticketed areas only. It must be low enough that a basketball cannot pass under it. Please be respectful of other behind you and do not block their view. Guests are allowed one lawn chair per person and are restricted to the lawn area only. Please be mindful of the limited amount of space we have and keep your footprint to a minimum.
Buyers beware: only purchase tickets through our Eventbrite link on indyjazzfest.net - Eventbrite is our official ticketing partner. We strongly caution against purchasing tickets from third parties and individuals on Craigslist, Facebook, and/or other ticket re-selling sites. It is the buyers responsibility to verify the validity of the tickets. When presented with counterfeit tickets at the gate, our only option will be to deny entry.
For the commissioned concert series at Schrott Center for the Arts, you are able to select your seat at point of purchase.
For shows at MacCallister Amphitheater and the Madame Walker Theatre, you will not be able to pick an exact seat within the pavilion or preferred seating - seating is available on a first-come-first-serve basis per section (including the lawn). We will be encouraging groups to leave appropriate spacing so groups can sit together. Please refer to the seating map when purchasing tickets.
There are no pre-designated parking spots with the exception of VIP ticket holders, but there is plenty of parking spread throughout Garfield Park. We will be posting a parking map soon. We also encourage attendees to carpool, use ride share services, or utilizing the Red Line bus service through IndyGo.
Indy Jazz Fest is a year-long project of the 501(c)3 not-for-profit Indianapolis Jazz Foundation. We are committed to keeping the legacy and future of jazz in Indianapolis at the forefront. We are supportive of all organizations that wish to promote jazz and encourage both individuals and organizations to utilize our resources to help further jazz awareness and the vibrant jazz scene in Indianapolis.

Personal use cameras – no professional equipment
No outside food or beverages
No water containers or Camelbacks, empty or sealed – water is available on-site
No glass of any kind
No firearms or weapons – absolutely no exceptions
No illegal substances
No smoking or vaping outside of permitted areas (in compliance with city ordinance and park rules)

Pets are not permitted inside the amphitheater – service animals are permitted.
